The Denso automotive plant , located in the Guanajuato Puerto Interior industrial park , laid the first stone for its third expansion, with an investment of 9.8 million dollars.

In this space, equipment will be stored to satisfy the needs of its customers , therefore, it will also increase the generation of jobs.

Present at the event were: Yoshiki Ishihara, Denso Bajío region vice president; Hiromasa Hakamada, president of Denso Mexico and virtually Seiji Maeda, president of Denso North America.

Denso is a Japanese company in the automotive sector; It has four plants in Mexico , two of them are in Guanajuato, the first since 2014. It is a leading supplier of automotive technology components and systems for companies such as Toyota, Honda, Ford, GM, Chrysler, Nissan  and Volkswagen .

At its Silao plant, it manufactures radiators, alternators, tanks and spray systems for windshield washer fluid, devices that separate cold from hot air in vehicle air conditioning (H-Vac)

Last April, Denso inaugurated its plant in Irapuato, bringing the number of employees to 2,541, of which 1,896 are from the Silao plant and 645 work at the Irapuato plant, where the windshield wiper system is manufactured.

Japan is the first investment partner of the state with 117 companies installed in Guanajuato, which add more than 6.116 million dollars of investment and 43,981 committed jobs.
